I've been trying to think what I think is the best approach for this. I used to work for B&N and they would let community groups leave fliers in vestibule. How ever recently trying to promote my free speech group they told me they do not allow that. Which makes me sad. Having worked at a book store I agree that the employees generally won't care. I really like the idea, but don't know that we should do something the bookstore would object to if ask. The local bookstore will however be happy to help us(Sam's Weller's was great). Also you may want to contact XMission and offer to teach a class on web page design to their customers(I'd love to help with that).
