I have never seen the syntax…

#cssnav ul :hover ul

…before today (note the space between the "ul" and the ":hover"). I thought that ":hover" had to be applied directly to an element, like this…

"ul:hover"

So, what is the author of the above snippet doing? Is it saying "address all unordered lists that are children of any element currently being moused over that is a child of an unordered list that is a child of #cssnav?
