I have just converted an old site over from part tables/css to full compliance: It uses son of suckerfish menus (3 levels) and the sfhover javascript code. Without the js, IE 7 does the rollover effect but not the drop downs.

So without further testing, I would say the it is only partially fixed.

That is correct for MSIE 6 and earlier. Version 7 was supposed to fix this, but I do not know if it is done (at least completely).
