The font size is definitely too small for my monitor (1366x768), I would check that the font works on whatever is your most common resolution. I just check it at 1024x768 and its still to small. It also breaks (not to badly but enough) on IE 6 WinXP. With a 3 sec average stay they are leaving the page before they start reading the text, something with the design or the loading is different from what they where looking for. The page is relatively large, about 184k, I like to keep 200K as the largest I will tolerate for a landing page, if you could get it down to 50-75K that would be excellent. Maybe have a look at the average connection speed that you are getting. How are you tracking the 3 sec stay? Most analytics that I have used/seen can't give accurate time on page stats if the user only views one page (the n-1 problem). I think the page is very heavy on text, and doesn't have a strong call to action, or urgency. It looks like read alot of text and buy my pill... why would I buy from you? Maybe a "May only" special, or a 30% off, or "Free Sample with purchase" or something similar. Hope this helps : ) -Jordan _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
