Hi Axel There are no mobile phone operators in the USA, so the text makes no sense in American English. Why would anyone ask an operator for this kind of info? They wouldn't have it anyway if there were any operators to give this information. Only from your note does one conjecture this sentence relates to mobil phones, "en revanche", means (to me) "on the other hand" so there appears to be two thoughts in the sentence not necessarily one thought. So it might read " it is impossible on the other hand, to obtain the least number of precocious clients (children?) or pehaps "least amount of precociousness from their clients"? Or perhaps its just more obtuseness of "la langue francais"??

It talks about cell phone operators and the fact that very young kids are now provided with cell phones by their parents. Ma première tentative est "There is no way one can obtain from mobile phone operators the slightest figure about their very young clients" Ca fait lourdingue, Peut-être: "There is no way one can obtain the slightest statistics about their very young clients from mobile phone operators " ? Mais slightesT et statisticS ça colle ? Des suggestions ?
