I don't think the laptop was built to be used like a server, which seems from your description what you are trying to do. It was designed to provide the power when you needed it. So from that perspective, it performs wonderfully within the bounds of what it was engineered to be. Otherwise everyone would just go out and buy laptops for servers instead of spending 10,000 and up for something designed to run that long and that hard.
