Also-
when writing an external, it would be nice to be able to write content to the message box for debugging. Is this possible? I suppose I could send the engine a "put" message. Just looking for the preferred way.
I don't know what the preferred way is but I just use SendMCMessage to send put messages for debugging and that works well enough. It would be nice to run an External in some sort of debugging mode though I don't know how to do that.
