I asked on the XCode list and was told it is possible to debug a library when an (outside) application loads the library. I followed the instructions but it didn't work for me. I'll post a howto if I get it to work.
This would be very helpful. I got a copy of the source code Tim Monroe did for his QT article in MacTech and it was sprinkled with
DebugStr("\pText Message");
calls whenever errors occurred. I'm assuming he used this for debugging so it must work.
