I'm messing around with "open driver" and serial stuff. In the docs
for 'open driver' it says:

On OS X and Unix systems, you can obtain a list of available devices
by reading the file "/dev/tty".
------------
Does this provide the same results as using drivernames() ?? Or is
there more there? And how does one read this file? Trying to read as
a text file results in errors.
