Your experience would seem to be exceptional. Typing
edit the script of this stack
in the message box works for me (opens up the editor with that script
displayed). I've used "edit the script of the selObj" many times
before.
I'm using Rev Studio 2.7.4, OS X 10.4.8 What are you using?
