Hi Matthias,

I had thought of that (copying the *.reg file from another machine) but I'm
a little hesitant to mess with the registry, not sure exactly what takes
care of what. Thanks anyway.

Hello Frank,

I had the same problem, it came up when Realsoft was running
and I've opened other "OGL-using-software" afterwards (Lightwave, Vue,...)

One solution is the uninstall, delete Registry Entries and reinstall.

Other solution: Find user with same OS (WinXP, or whatever you use)
and get an exported *.reg file and import this *.reg file.
You'll need (more or less):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realsoft\Realsoft3D\05.01

IMPORTANT: There are Serialnumbers inside this Reg-Tree.
Delete them from the exported Reg-File (*.reg) before sharing this file.

Matthias

Subject: object handles gone

Hello guys,

I'm in a state of panic. I'm on a tight schedule to get two job's done in
time and all of a sudden all object handles are gone. I've tried every
setting I can think of in the preferences window, I've even reinstalled
RS3D, no difference, no object handles.

Not only are the handles gone, the viewwindow has turned to a sort of grey
where it used to be realsoft blue-ish.

I'm using Realsoft 5.1/SP3/05.01.90 on a Windows XP 64 machine with dual
monitor setup. This setup has worked well for weeks.

Can anyone help me out? Please?

Regards,

            Frank Bueters
