Hi Marc :
Have you an ATI card, too?
No I have Nvidia cards now .
I prefer to watch the screen render nicely (from wireframe)
Yes, this is a feature I've used often when it comes down to fine tune some materials. But I open another view with a specific rendering setting for this task. So I don't have to destroy my main edit view. This has IMO also the advantage that I can resize the view to have a nice balance between rendering time and quality.
Yes , good idea ! I should build such a screen , then just add it to my startup project . I was actually using a modified quad- view , with a couple of the quadrants set differently for this . The Quad view has given me too many problems to use now , however . The Quad view is a great idea , but there seem to be some pro- blems with it . I've recently had a project that just crashed when loaded . Turned out that , if I loaded it in Quad , it crashed , but if I loaded it in Default View , it was fine . I thought I sent that in to RS but I just checked and I guess I haven't yet . Will do when I get a chance .
Viele Grüße, Marc
Cheers . studio
