Another point :

Actually , the whole damn problem , since V4.x , is that when
we save and then load a project , any minimized windows do not re-
member where we placed them . That's perhaps a MS Windows Problem ,
but it is a problem and I whined about it years and years ago .

RS Control Windows that were expanded when the project was saved
will remember their position , but not if they were minimized , for
some reason .

Luckily , I have an extremely handy utility that "Rolls-Up"
any window, anywhere, simply by middle-mouse buttoning the window's
'System Menu' (far top left of any MS Windows' window) . This is a
semi-solution for me as long as I remember to make sure all the
windows are rolled up or expanded when I save .

... but if I forget , then reload a project , guess where my min-
imized open windows are ? Not where I left them , that's for sure.
They are lined up along the bottom of my RS interface , covering
the 'Status Window' and part of the 'Animation Window' .

So the first thing I have to do when I load an RS Project is
grab those minimized windows and place them where they should be,
in an area of the screen I have reserved for them .

 It's a nuisance and has always been a nuisance . As I say ,
maybe it's a Microsoft thing , but in After Effects my windows
are always where I placed them when I saved last , and I can
save-re-load without any tidying up to do first before working .

The way it is now still with RS , you have to do the dishes
first before you can cook anything .

Do You :
... find yourself constantly pushing the 'View Property Win-
dow' out of the way , or always minimizing it ? Then double
clicking on an object in the 'Select Window' , making modif-
ications in that objects multi-tabbed 'Property Window' and
then pushing/minimizing that Property Window out of the way ,
then searching for what you did with the view property win-
dow again , then making more changes to certain objects ?
