  Sorry for the stupid answer:
  maybe, I'm not sure...

I'll do some other test with "if" in vsl..

BTW: Last send image with smooth
cubes was made with the build in cell-shader.

  And it was good !
Well this is the way i used it in Povray:
  isosurface:
I render a movie file with randomized changes (could be done to each
function of the isosurface) let it play very slowly , stop at the frame who's
form
is best to use in a final work , pick out the formula of that particular frame
and render it as a picture.
That way choices are infinite and most important it's funny...
  No good work without fun...

Is the grain multiple surfaces at the same co-ordinates?

      hmmm,
maybe a vsl-guru should have a look at
      it, too.
should be possible, but I can't
get rid of the "grain" on the cut's.

        ...Like this for example... (f_checker.jpg)
i used it in a AVI file (expl.jpg) on my site...
benefit is a short render time and suitable forms.

              why with the uv-editor ?

              why not with meta-balls + material ?

Could it be possible to build isosurfaces with the UV editor.
                Isosurfaces =
Cut out ( inside of an object ) of other objects >> see
                doc and jpg.
