Glad Combadz already support all this coming technologies.

I was always wondering what your software actually does, the veil is lifted a bit on the site but man, it's still mysterious. A disappointment it can't cure diseases - a real bummer ;)

So, how is the status? Working on docs?

You're making some bold claims, it would be quite something to revolutionize the 3d scene singlehandedly! Maybe it all sounds too good to be true but I hope it works out and wish you all the luck in the world, can't wait to try the demo!

thanks for the links,

It's 98% completed what is left to be done is :
-LicenceKey implementation
-Finish website
-Do some video tutorials
-A button to cancel rendering of animation
-Multiple selection of Keyframes
-Debug a little more
-Do some scene demonstration
-Go to Softimage for presentation on launch day.
-Find a way to transfer money for future customer

I am not convinced that combadz will change the industry that much anymore.
Because people like it when it is fully packed of features and they like doing the same thing over and over again (look at the popularity of autocad). CombadZ is just a different approach to working with 3D software, not everyone will like it (the user interface can be very disorienting for veterans). All the claims are obviously true when you know the solution, but that does not mean it's the way you want to work. Some people like to look for solution in the manual, then enter a couple of parameters in a window instead of doing everything directly in realtime.

There are many small revolutions inside CombadZ also that have been bothering me for 20 years in 3D softwares.

When you see it you will probably laugh at it because it was so simple, yet nobody dared. Instead of complex interface for everything, in combadz you just select and move the invisible slider (very precise, fast and fun) There is nothing else to do in CombadZ, but it is still more powerful and flexible than any other software on the market. Today, by realizing that Sparse Voxel Octree is automatically supported by CombadZ prove the point that it is future proof (it was designed 4 years ago). But "support" might not be what you expect, the final result is the same (a rendered image using an external renderer)

Could show it to you Mark if you come to Montreal, Quebec, Canada

New techniques and workfow will need to be developed when CombdaZ is out, will need help for that. I don't know myself what CombadZ can fully do nor what it can be used to. I don't know what people could do if they use the idea and improve it.

Project stats : more than 50 000 lines of c++ including comments, 2 000 pages of notes, It's fully working on Linux Wine, many backup spread across 4 secured locations in different cities. It is in my testament that if I die, everything will be published on the internet for everyone to see. This project has become more important than me.

Instead of modeling we will paint with 3D brush directly in 3D space and all materials will be directly modeled in 3D
