Hi Mark, Not freeware, but as you were talking about the Amiga, this one popped up in my mind. The old Amiga Imagemaster software still exists under the name of Winimages http://www.blackbeltsystems.com/ It costs 50 dollars and offers a lot of tools, even morphing.
