Hi Mark,

Not freeware, but as you were talking about the Amiga, this one popped up 
in
my mind.
The old Amiga Imagemaster software still exists under the name of 
Winimages

It costs 50 dollars and offers a lot of tools, even morphing.

Aak, some ancient memories are stirred... yes I did use that powerful 
software on my Amiga! Nice to see it's still alive, and very affordable.
