Hello Realists,
It's been a while since I last used rs3d, or any 3d application. It feels
like touching the guitar after a 10 year break: it's all still there but I
wouldn't know how to get it out.
One thing I can't remember is how to snap the grid to an object. I
remember
that "." places the origin of the grid and I still know how to snap to
points of objects. But I can't snap the grid to an object. No matter what
key I press the origin of the key is always placed where I let go the LMB.
Does anyone know how to snap a grid to an object? All help is appreciated.
Regards, Frank
Hi Frank,
I don't think I ever snapped a grid to an object, never realized it could be
done!
It can be positioned numerically: View properties -> Input -> Input plane ->
Hotpoint
This input plane stuff can be very confusing...
Sorry not to be of much help but nice to see you back :)
