I wouldn´t.
I don´t want to have to switch to another application, just to test some 
lighting oder material.
And as I see it, even Lightwaves customers are a bit pissed about LWs 
two-module structure.
There you have a "modelling" and a "layout" application, this has been 
established years and years ago, and seems to have proven impractical.
I really don´t know why one would want RS3D to go that way.

I´d much more like RS3D to have "modes", so that you could quickly switch to a 
rendering mode, texturing mode, modelling mode, etc., witch respective 
specialized layout.
That would be cool.
