JNDI might be an option

interface you're looking for could be CMIS, a new cms vendor driven
standard which Magnolia is probably going to implement

We need to access content managed by magnolia from other java web
applications. They might run within the same application server or in
other application servers.
What are the options of accessing magnolia content?
Are there any built-in web-services or RESTful interface in magnolia?
