The original poster was asking about a rest-style interface, and it
might be way simpler to implement than it seems. Hooking a servlet or
filter in Magnolia, using the AggregationContext, should be fairly
simple. We're also planning on implementing a simple feature that will
let you access a rendered paragraph through a url in 4.1 (no guarantee
though, so feel free to pitch in with patches)

Hey Gilles,
any possibility to participate to your developments for this
problem? May be the idea? Or some code - snippets? We do not have
the enterprise edition.
I will have the same problem next week.

We have implemented a servlet that can return any Magnolia content.
This is quite easy to do

JNDI might be an option
http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/modules/jndi.html. The RESTFul
interface you're looking for could be CMIS, a new cms vendor driven
standard which Magnolia is probably going to implement
(http://betterfasterbigger.blogspot.com/2008/11/magnolia-joined-oasis-as
-sponsor-for.html).

Hi All,
We need to access content managed by magnolia from other java web
applications. They might run within the same application server or
in
other application servers.
What are the options of accessing magnolia content?
Are there any built-in web-services or RESTful interface in
magnolia?
Thanks for your time.
Regards
Jeyaram
