Hi Matteo,

yes, we've never stopped supporting "old-school" templating even 
when STK is on scene. In case you're interested, then all about
is described at [1] (yep, I know, it's pretty long, but useful for
newcomers) which if I'm not mistaken was written based on 4.x 
(f.e. freemarker support). Once a template is defined at whatever
module and its script is written, you see him in drop-down list,
f.e. samples module templates don't use STK anymore.
