Can you access your pages directly on the author instance (i.e http://localhost:8080/magnoliaAuthor/demo-project.html for example) Otherwise, other wild guesses: it sounds like it could be cache (Stop the server, remove the cache folder - inside magnoliaAuthor), session(Stop the server, , empty Tomcat's work folder), or permissions related (Did you change any role before you started having this issue ?), ...
