Hi everyone! We're planning some performance (load) tests for our public instance - and I was wondering about the best configuration for this (regarding Jackrabbit and its repositories).
I assume the default Derby-DB does not perform that well under load? Can anyone confirm this assumption? Does anyone have any experience regarding the best (open-source) database to use? Should we prefer MySQL over Postgres for our public instances? I assume file-based BLOB-storage (JackRabbit "Datastore") is best? Should we do anything special with the repository configuration, eg move the indices onto ram-disks or something like that? I can't really find anything on this in the Wiki, so any input would be greatly appreciated!
