Hi Antti, I've tried this and it doesn't appear to work. By that, I mean that I am unable to select the new page template in the drop down box on the Website part of the Magnolia admin console.
I've tried copying the stkLargeArticle node, removing the areas and dialog nodes and changing the title value to give an unique name (i.e. myArticle). The extends value is left as is. I've created the copy under different modules (templating, standard-templating-kit, and my own myModule) and at no time is myArticle available to add to my Website. Am I missing something?
