Hi,

The DPI has informational character, and no impact on the image size or
quality. The DPI value in the images does not matter.

You can try PNG rather than JPG as the image format. Especially for Images
containing lines (charts, graphics) and text PNG is often a much better choice,
as JPG compression tends to make lines and text blurry.

Regards from Vienna,

Richard

Hi,
Just to add few more points to the above query. We have configured an resize
operation chain in Magnolia imaging module and trying to resize the image. Our
input image is of size 400X200 px we have configured the required height=89 and
width=75.Whenever we tried to resize the image output size is 89X44px(I
understand width is kept 44 px to maintain the aspect ratio) but the image is
becoming blurred. But If I tried to resize using the mspaint I am getting a
proper image with the output size 89x44px.When I compare the resized images
properties I could see "dpi" property is the only difference.Image resized
using mspaint is having a dpi of 120px whereas image resize using Magnolia
imaging module is having 90px.Is there any way I can pass the dpi as a
parameter.Kindly help us to solve this issue?
