Hi guys, I worked with other developers on a Magnolia Solr Module for the VPRO (2 yrs ago) and I can tell you that the current (stale) Magnolia Solr Module is a very nice starting point but a long way off from a real implementation. You will run into a lot of functionality that you will need to add (multi-site support is one of them). I can also tell you that it is not easy to make a generic Magnolia Solr Module since all Solr implementations out there will have specific requirements.
You could perhaps ask the guys at VPRO for a possible collaboration or maybe a snapshot of their Solr integration? If I am not mistaken they have since moved from Solr to ElasticSearch however. PS: why Solr at all? Isn't ElasticSearch the way to go and more interesting to integrate into Magnolia? cheers, Edgar -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=9ae809d0-e81c-4816-bc8f-0eac8e95a1b2 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ----------------------------------------------------------------
