Thanks Nils! I have in fact tried playing with maxFailedLoginAttempts and lockTimePeriod, but it did not solve the issue. The message on failed login attempts is different from "Access restriction ..." and it just blocks 1 user still allowing others to log in. I have set those parameters both to 5 now to protect against the brute-force.
Could there be anything else in Magnolia that might resolve this? I mean, for example, if it somehow locks out all the users when there too many logged in ones then could it after some time reset the logged in sessions?
