I dont want magnoliaPublic to appear on the deployed web site.
e.g I want something like www.mysite.com.
Is this something that I would have to do within magnolia or is this a tomcat
configuration.
thanks
bholey
I am not sure the following will answer your question, but I felt like trying
:-)
- you can use an Apache server to forward www.mysite.com request to your public instance tomcat
installation. You will still have links like: http://wwww.mysite.com/en/newsOnOilMarket.html, but I
guess this is oke (the above f.e. can be forwarded to
http://mypublictomcat:8080/magnoliaPublic/website/en/newsOnOilMarket.html).
- you should decide on how you want to deploy your application. How many machines are you gonna set
for Magnolia (considering both author and public instances). How are you planning to expose those
machines? and such topological questions :-).
