Hi Phil,

why don't you use the VirtualHosts of Apache? For me this works fine
(see http://www.magnolia.info/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=RunningSeveralSitesWithOneMagnoliaInstance)

Subject: [magnolia-user] Mapping mutliple virtual hosts

Hi Magnolians,
I thought I had a solution to map the virtual host to the second level in my website tree consistent with simpleNavigation startLevel="2".
First, with apache I used

JkMount /magnoliaPublic/* ajp138207

Then on my remote host I set
config > modules > VirtualURIMapping > default >
   toURI /site1/en/home
  fromURI /

When I browse to www.site1.com I get the page
site1/en/home.html
as desired.

This seems to work for a single domain mapping but how do you map the second and third,
www.site2.com to site2/en/home ???
www.site3.com to site3/en/home ???

the default VirtualMapping is already taken.

Thanks for any help.
Phil :+)

Hi Ralf,
I didn't use apache virtual host to map down to the home page at the second level in the tree because I thought that mapping to that level would send activation to the wrong place.
If not, how exactly would you map it?
thanks,
Phil
