Have you manaually copied your template files into your public instance? Activating will only copy the config side across. I think this is the most likely cause of the problem you are seeing.

Hi Guys, I am in desperate need of help. I am using Magnolia 3.0rc2 on Windows with default magnolia configuration. I have created a new template for some of the pages of my demo website. I have activated the template from the authoring environment and have created some new pages with that new template. Now when I view the website from the public instance all those changes are not there. I have tried everything but still there is no change.
