Hi, Thanks for interesting opinions! Lee's message was very perceptive, so I'd like to answer to it.
It was naturally great to develop Realsoft 3D on the bleeding edge back in the past. We innovated new stuff, did our best to make the software better and managed to build decent business just by doing things we enjoyed very much. Close relationship with a large, active and helpful user community was truly fantastic. Nowadays, we continue supporting the customers and keep the software compatible with new OS versions. I personally consider Realsoft 3D as a valid and efficient tool for many - if not most - 3D visualization tasks. There are some special projects going on, which bring new functionality and optimizations to the software. I don' t expect any rapid change in the velocity of development in the near future, but we will continue improving the software. For example, we are just about to release the first v8 based upgrade, which will add support for multithreaded rendering with up to 256 cores. Warm thanks to you and other users, whose support enabled us to make a lifework we dreamed about! Best regards, Vesa and Juha
