Easy now. CouchDB and the community is balancing making a make-your-
own-cloud high performance multi-node database and a single-node-
standalone-application database. There are forces that pull in one
and others that pull in the, well, other direction. I think this is
good.
My point isn't about this or any other specific technical issue.
This project seems to be administered in accordance with Damien's
unexplained and undiscussed plan. That would be fine, except that this
is an Apache project. I'm looking for a discussion of the plan, of the
goals, of the future architecture, rather than merely being allowed to
discuss some technical details as CouchDB is built according to some
private vision.
