We have not been able to migrate to 1.8 yet due to business reasons, and now we are planning to migrate to 1.9 directly and are testing it.
Do you have an ETA for the fix? Also do you have the code for reproducing it? We are also changing our clients to become long running servers so that the topology does not change a lot.
