Probably you need to install libxrender1 (sudo apt-get install libxrender1) on your machine.

JMeter is compliant with Java 8. (and if not, then we (Apache JMeter team) will be happy to know the bug)

Hi all,

I have installed Jmeter (latest version) on Ubuntu machine… after I
installed Java , I got the following error when trying to run "sudo sh
jmeter.sh" :

An error occurred:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-oracle/jre/lib/amd64/libawt_xawt.so: libXrender.so.1:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Anybody bumped into this problem, if so, and you have solutions I will
be more than happy to hear about it.

Thanks,
