The problem i am facing is that i have edited the settings.xml file under the path ..\apache-maven-3.0.4\conf and still i could not connect to the internet.I have redirected my apache karaf to use maven sttings.xml file for connection to internet.I have edited the settings.xml file by changing the tag proxy settings specifying my host and port id.Still i can not connect to the internet.Can anyone please sort out the reason for this?
