I probably did enough damage on this thread, but... Franz, Thanks for providing evidence that making Lenya easy-to-use for non-gurus will help its popularity.
Gregor, Thanks for putting the comments for controlling upgrade processes in the correct bugzilla. --- And then I realized something else. (Say "Uh-oh.") My confusion started because Lenya 1.2.3 is an odd-number release, and I assumed it was a development version rather than a stable production release. (Yeah, assumptions. You know?) I usually suggest making Lenya easier for newbies; now I am suggesting making it easier for the OSS/FSS aware. The even/odd production/development numbering scheme is ubiquitous.
