Agreed.
Which reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask for some time: the
xhtml.rng file includes xhtml-basic.rng, but has comments about changing this to
XHTML transitional or XHTML strict. Would that be an acceptable change?
Given my last statement, I'd have to say no :) But I think as long as we
stick to a standard, and old content remains editable, we could consider
changing the schema. IMO XHTML transitional is a bad compromise for a
content storage format, but AFAIK the default XHTML support of Firedocs
is targeted to the transitional schema, so maybe we'll have to switch to
this schema anyway when we want to support Firedocs.
