I have found a number of problem with the RPMS under 64bit SuSE 10.2...

1) The midgard.so php extension is not loaded in the correct location...

It is placed in ...

/usr/lib64/php/extensions

rather than

/usr/lib64/php5/extensions

2) The noarch data rpm does not work with 64bit version. I had to recompile
from source (using checkinstall to create an appropriate rpm for SuSE).
Compilation has a problem finding the Apache executable initially.

3) The user:group ownership for the web components seem to be incorrect (should
be wwwrun:www not root:root)

Also some generic installation issues with Datagard....

a) the default script memory limit for SuSE is a little low so causes some PEAR
installation stuff to fail.

b) Seems to be a problem with one module (unresolved call), this could because
of previous failures.

Ripping whole thing out to start again as installation is a bit of a mess.
(Thinks some things are installed which are not etc etc).

If I get this working I will get back to you but does need a bit of work.

BTW Is there any restrictions on the e-mail accounts one can register with. My
normal account did not receive registration details when I attempted with that,
and have have been forced to use a reserve account.
