Now sorted out the problems associated with the PEAR components... The RPMs from the buildsite installed stuff in the non-local structures but the compiled version used local bits, unfortunately this left a couple of loose ends which created some odd behaviour.
At the moment the php stuff loads, the database is created but the initial sites are not created. The manual tool for doing this does not seem to exist. There is further issue in that the configuration information is being placed in /usr/local/etc but some of the php components are looking for it in /etc (?). The libmidgard libraries are being placed in lib rather than lib64 (lib is for 32 bit stuff, these are 64bit) but that is probably a compilation config issue and probably worth sorting out more permanently if this can be got to work. Unfortunately, I think for most people installing on 64bit SuSE 10.2 is probably a non-starter at the moment. _______________________________________________ user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.midgard-project.org/mailman/listinfo/user
