The underlying bug has even been fixed yet, but there hasn't been much
activity lately, so there is no version available where this is fixed.

Sometimes it stops after a while, but more often than not, I end up
having to kill the process and restart Eclipse.
I'm using the development version from "update-dev".
Also, I don't know if this is related, but I've noticed that the lucene
indexes sometimes get hosed and appear to cause something similar.
Re-indexing the repository usually fixes that.
