My ideas: - given that we have such a POM editor, we will surely use it for the "Current Project" (modifying settings, maybe as part of a Setup-proedure etc). Would be good also to (re)use this editor (in readonly-mode or similar) for 3rd party poms (the ones my project depends on) (Project Tree->Maven-Dependencies->AnArtefact->Open Pom)
- Maybe not directly related to the Editor, but it could be useful to open the Home-page / IssueManagement-URL etc of a Pom from within eclipse. Perhaps as an action inside the editor, or also near "Project Tree->Maven-Dependencies->AnArtefact->Open Pom". Please see my blog post [1] and wiki page [2]. Your feedback is important to us and it would help to make a great editor for the Maven POM. If you want to get more involved and would like to work on the code, we have instructions for setting up development environment on the wiki [3].
