Okok, still early in the morning. Saw the links there, assumed they are some
sort of helpers for ENTERING the URL, not for navigation....
Just to clarify a bit: Suppose I want to quickly navigate to the home page or issue management of
a pom - I would like to do this in one hop "Project
Tree->Maven-Dependencies->AnArtefact->Goto Home Page", and not in two steps by
opening the Pom-editor first.
Good point. Please open a jira issue for this and we'll stuff it into
the next release.
regards,
Eugene

- given that we have such a POM editor, we will surely use it for the
"Current Project" (modifying settings, maybe as part of a
Setup-proedure etc). Would be good also to (re)use this editor (in
readonly-mode or similar) for 3rd party poms (the ones my project
depends on) (Project Tree->Maven-Dependencies->AnArtefact->Open Pom)
Naturally, poms opened from anywhere should use the same editor. That include
"open pom" actions from dependencies in the editor, Navigate menu, Package
Explorer and Maven Indexes view.
- Maybe not directly related to the Editor, but it could be useful to open the Home-page /
IssueManagement-URL etc of a Pom from within eclipse. Perhaps as an action inside the editor, or
also near "Project Tree->Maven-Dependencies->AnArtefact->Open Pom".
He he. Look closely, those urls already have links in the forms. :-)
Thanks for the ideas and please keep em' coming.

Eugene

Betreff: [m2eclipse-user] feedback for the Maven POM editor
m2eclipse team would like your feedback on the Maven POM editor.
Please see my blog post [1] and wiki page [2]. Your feedback is important to us and it would help to make a great editor for the Maven POM.
If you want to get more involved and would like to work on the code, we have
instructions for setting up development environment on the wiki [3].
Thank you in advance
