Hello again Eugene and Igor,
Just thought I'd give you an update on Eclipse not recognising web page for
Struts 2.
I ended up resolving these issues by clearing out project again
The I followed advice posted
http://saloon.javaranch.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=58&t=012223
here by Merrill Higginson to do a (file->import->war file) for the
struts2-blank-2.x.x.war file.
Then cleared project down and imported folder where I had book source again,
as I described earlier in the thread.
This time the only error I had was for the POST attribute on the form
statement which was easy to resolve,by just changing it to lower-case.
I guess the import of the war did something to resynchronise Eclipse
internally, because it now recognized the web page as at Struts 2 artifact
and the imports and taglib uri error messages never reared their ugly heads.
The only thing I now have to do is work out how to setup the Jetty 6.0.1
server in Eclipse. I think it is imported somewhere in my local Maven
repository. I'll probably have this figured out soon. I think you can even
have Eclipse attempt to scan for server. Although I think Eclipse only shows
Mortbay Jetty 5.1 by default. The newest one doesn't appear by default as a
server in download additional servers wizard..
