Hi,

I currently run war:inplace to get what I want.

Setting the output path in eclipse does not work. This output path is
ignored on an m2e-enabled web module. At least that's what I am
experiencing.

What you say only works if you turn off m2e on the web module.

You can set eclipse itself up to compile to
src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/classes, then just run war:inplace whenever you
change any dependencies to populate src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/lib.

Hi,

Is there any way to get the same behaviour from m2e as one can get via
mvn war:inplace? I want my class files to end up in
src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/classes and my dependencies in
src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/lib.

I guess this is somewhat related to the separate output directory issue
discussed earlier on this list.

Thanks,

Kristof
