Apparently things are bit more complicated. WTP 1.5 require EMF 2.2 at
build time, but m2eclipse code depend on EMF 2.3 (because of generics in
the generated model). Here is few ideas to try:
* play with different versions of EMF in the target platform and see if
you could make things build and run
* exclude org.maven.ide.components.maven-model-edit from workspace and
get it included as binary from the target platform
* use target platform based on Eclipse 3.3 (as documented on the wiki)
and attach debugger to separate Eclipse instance running RAD7
Unfortunately I won't have time to investigate this.
Maybe I'm missing the point, but as soon as I switch the target platform
to Eclipse 3.2 (using "location"), I get compiler errors, for example
because of the non-generic version of emf. How would that differ if I
set the target platform to RAD 7 (I haven't tried yet)? If you call it
trivial, it must be that I'm missing something obvious I guess...
