Upgrading to this build on Mac OS X (10.5.5) causes fatal error:
"The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion
shared library".
I had to nuke entire eclipse app and fall back on a previous backup.
A pretty serious regression, I would say! Any ideas as to why?
Perhaps some missing resource in the update? Has it been tested on Mac?

We have published stable development build 0.9.7.20081001-2217. You can
install it from the dev update site at
http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update-dev/
This build includes updated integration for WTP and provides support
for EAR and EJB projects as well as improvements for WAR projects. I
would like to say special thanks to Fred Bricon, who contributed this
feature.
Basically what this mean is that you can now import [1] or create [2]
web projects and they will be automatically configured to work with WTP
using settings and Maven plugins configuration from the pom.xml.
We have tested this functionality with Tomcat and JBoss 4.2.2 and I
would like to encourage everyone interested in this functionality with
other application servers. The bug reports with test projects would be a
great help for us.
The current implementation only support some subset of configuration
parameters supported by Maven plugins. We'll be updating corresponding
documentation page [3] with more details.
As always, we would like to hear your feedback. Please don't hesitate
to share your thoughts in the news group and mailing lists, submit bug
reports to the project issue tracker [4] and contribute to project
documentation on the wiki [5].
Thanks
