I upgraded my Eclipse to 3.4.1 a while ago, yesterday morning updated
m2e to 0.9.7.20081001-2217 and don't have any issues on my mac 10.5.5 -
everything works smoothly, I am able to start/restart eclipse and OS.
Mauro - I had a problem like you described a while ago: one of my users
copied eclipse.ini from one version to another, so it was still pointing
to an old library. How did you upgrade your eclipse?

This build includes updated integration for WTP and provides
support for EAR and EJB projects as well as improvements for
WAR projects. I would like to say special thanks to Fred

Basically what this mean is that you can now import [1] or
create [2] web projects and they will be automatically
configured to work with WTP using settings and Maven plugins
configuration from the pom.xml.
We have tested this functionality with Tomcat and JBoss 4.2.2
and I would like to encourage everyone interested in this
functionality with other application servers. The bug reports
with test projects would be a great help for us.
The current implementation only support some subset of
configuration parameters supported by Maven plugins. We'll be
