[m2eclipse-user] Missing options in Maven Project wizard

I'm using Eclipse 3.4.1 with m2eclipse 0.9.6 and Subclipse 1.2.4. The  
Maven book describes how to checkout Maven projects from SCM [1], but  
this option isn't available to me. The only wizards I see in the New  
Project page are "Maven Module" and "Maven Project". The "Checkout  
Maven Project from SCM" and "Maven POM file" choices are missing. At  
first I thought the problem was because I had not installed the Maven  
SCM Integration and Maven SCM Handler for Subclipse plugins, but after  
installing them, the options are still missing. How do I fix this?
