[midgard-user] Getting closer: mysql error

Can it be that the weird thing with my tables is related to a mysql
problem? I have this in /usr/local/var/myhostname.err

001216 19:36:14  mysqld
started                                                                                
                         
/usr/local/libexec/mysqld: ready for
connections                                                                            
            
001216 20:45:30  Aborted connection 17 to db: 'midgard' user: 'midgard'
host: `localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)  
001216 21:07:30  Aborted connection 18 to db: 'midgard' user: 'midgard'
host: `localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)

Mysql is mysql-3.23.28-gamma installed from source.
